And Portugal being an entitled member of the European Community, the MD appeals to all the European citizens, sensitive to the program we defend, to come together, helping to realize the reforms we are proposing, by divulging our proposals in the countries where they are living. And it is important to remember that the frontiers are getting more and more narrow and the citizens of the E.C. know that their welfare depends of the physical environment where they are involved, even temporarily, depending from the needs of medical services and centres of quick and qualified diagnostics, to have the use of advantages of security and well-being, to have the possibility of appealing to the court, where they may count on a fair and quick justice, and also as citizens, who do not live socially alone, and to be convinced that the concern for their fellow creatures makes part, at least, of human evolution looking for a way to the stars and the universe.
Two important Portuguese constitutionalists gave their opinion in the EXPRESSO NEWSPAPER, of Lisbon, about the appearing of the "Rallying for the Patient – MD", as follows:
"Prof. Dr. Jorge Miranda affirms – Sometimes, the parties are getting lost with formal matters which do not mean very much to the people. This Party does not represent a Party in the classical way, it is rather a movement of citizens, but I believe that the discussion about the Parties inlivens in power. This is democracy. More critical, Prof. Costa Andrade believes that the great ideological arguments ruling the forming of the traditional political parties are in crisis. The MD may create a new state of mind of collective consciousness and might represent a different thought for the parties."
MD adjusted its program for the Portuguese country, but does not forget the Portuguese spread all over the world, whose cooperation is always welcome.
