If you once come to Portugal, on holidays or passing by or in a situation of temporary service, and to call in the Emergency Services of a Public Hospital to evaluate your state of health or if you need an urgent surgery service, you certainly would like to be attended quickly by experienced Health Professionals.

So, if this day should occur (for you or a member of your family) and you are not satisfied with the attendance, what should you do?
- Get upset?
- Would you say everything goes wrong and will complain to the competent services.

At this moment, we would suggest to consult this “site” as a whole, so that you will be conscious of our efforts to improve, in practical terms, the National Health Service in Portugal…

Do you dispose of a system of Public Health in your country? How does it work?

Are there waiting lists for medical care and surgery?
And do the emergency at your hospital satisfy?
